I worked with the Speakers at the O’Reilly Fluent Javascript conference the other day in SF and a group of the speakers began talking about their love of ships and meeting up later at the SF Maritime Museum. The conversation quickly turned into how they’re all just really moonlighting coders but sci-fi writers at heart. So I jumped on the opportunity to chime-in and share my Alchemical Project AM47 and hand out my card. AM47 is of course all @ ‘sci-fi’ (or more appropriately, Speculative Fantasy / Metafiction) and, well… Ships! I’ve probably flat-blasted the poor bastards. Ah well.

As a caveat, @ 47 minutes later, a speaker wearing prototype Augmented Reality glasses from Google asks me if I want to try them on. As soon as I put them on and swipe my finger at the temple control, the time [ 4:47 ] pops-up!! This type of Synchronicity is common for me, and increasing all the time, but it’s nice to have actual witnesses, not to mention potential new contacts. It’s a sad state of affairs when you can’t simply come out and say things like “Sidereal Astrology“, “Alchemy”, “Synchronicity”, “Vision Dreaming”, and the like without being ridiculed or disregarded out-of-hand. But I’m learning to take every chance that comes, damn the consequences… By Any Means Necessary!

(30 May 2013) Today I decided that the Project ALTER MAN 47 ship needed a proper name. I figured a good place to start was to make an anagram of ALTER MAN: a a e l m n r t
El – the one (Spanish), God (Semitic)
Mantra – a sound, syllable, word, or group of words that is considered capable of “creating transformation” (Sanskrit)
EL MANTRA or just The Mantra. The name of the AM47 ship is The Mantra.
This mantra, the Moola Mantra, evokes the living God, asking protection and freedom from all sorrow and suffering. It is a prayer that adores the great creator and liberator, who out of love and compassion manifests, to protect us, in an earthly form.
Uhh, okay. Well that was easy! And of course a perfect fit. Not only is it precise, but also multi-cultural and perfectly aligned with the Intent of Project AM47. The Mantra will be equipped with a highly advanced sound system with a wide range of vibrational capabilities including Cetacean interaction, meditational attuning of the crew and broadcast sonics with a variety of wonderful and strange applications.
Concept yacht of a voyaging island. Although The Mantra will look nothing like this polished dreamboat, it does have obvious Elemental aspects: FIRE = volcanic tip, WATER = waterfall pool, AIR = central thoroughfare, EARTH = volcanic base. Magic!

The main eruption on Iceland in 2010 which subsided during the AM47 Point of Elemental EARTH.
Beginning on 14 April 2010, volcanic eruptions in Iceland created an ash cloud that led to the closure of most of the European IFR airspace. By 31 May 2010, the main eruption phase had subsided to the point that no further lava or ash was being produced.

The upcoming AM47 Alchemical Point of Elemental EARTH is on 31 May 2013 in the Azores. As a guardian of nature and temporary nemesis of humankind, a big part of me would love to see massive seismic/volcanic activity spawn from the region around the Azores, Iceland and the Mid-Atlantic Ridge to enact some measure of natural retribution on the world, esp. the British & American Empires: bookends of the Atlantic Ocean.

Sidereal (star) reckoning was the basis of all astrology before it became divorced from astronomy thanks in large part to a fractured torch-pass from the Babylo-Egyptians to the Greco-Romans (thankfully with some Arabic sanity in between). It’s shocking to me that humankind hasn’t demanded the total excavation of the magnificent astro-archaeological find at Gobekli Tepe, Turkey. Clearly a highly advanced “international” agreement of the stars above… 12,000 years ago! Mind blowing. I think they buried it on purpose as a Time Capsule to be found in the future… Now. When working with a system as comprehensive as Astrology, it is easy to reach confounded ends. For instance, ‘I wonder if Eric is a hot-head because his Sun is in Aries or because he’s got Mars on his MC?’ There is no way to answer this astrologically until you run his chart. The ultimate question is, how can 2 differing systems (Tropical & Sidereal) both be right? They can’t. It’s one or the other. There is no fuzzy thinking here. Astrology is far to important to be mistaken. For instance, the star Antares is the Heart of the Scorpion. This is an unalterable factual agreement from antiquity. If Mercury was conjunct Antares (Scorpio, Fixed WATER) when I was born, how on earth can I expect to interpret it accurately if I think that it is in Tropical Sagittarius (Mutable FIRE) as 97% of Western Astrologers will tell me so.?.

To put it bluntly, Sidereal Astrology is scientific, tropical astrology is arbitrary. Luckily, I got seriously interested in astrology @ 18 years ago when there was ample info available about ALL the known Astrologys. As I had nothing invested in any of them (apart from being told for years from flaky people that I was a “Sag”), I was discerning enough to measure which one was both historically and empirically The MOST accurate: Sidereal Astrology. Sure, things that folks believe in collectively have great power. But when you can align those “beliefs” with what’s actually going on, then you have just MAXimized your power. 97% of Western Astrologers and Magicians use Tropical Astrology. Look at the world, do you see any spiritual mechanics functioning properly in this mess? I don’t. But I aim to walk this earth and fix it.
