Sperm whales at a dream-in in the Azores Archipelago.
In mid-late May 2007, two injured female humpback whales, a mother and calf that became known as Delta & Dawn got “lost” in the San Francisco Bay. They spent 2 weeks roaming the bay in distress. Right about the time that they finally and inexplicably decided to swim back down river toward the sea and vanish (the date of this event would also prove to be highly significant, see below* ), I had this ultra-vivid Visionary Dream that I now suspect was somehow influenced or even induced by these whales. The dream felt more like what I imagine a “vision” would, as opposed to what I understand a lucid dream to be. Astonishingly, key elements of this dream surface in my ongoing research and development of producing the future voyage: ALTER MaN 4 7.

Four locations in perfect cross-quarter formation around the world are naturally manifesting the characteristics of the 4 Classical Elements of ALCHEMY. The mission of Project ALTER MaN 4 7 (AM47) is to film the journey of an alt-fuel ship that will circumnavigate the globe to connect all four of these points, one every three months over the course of a year and in so doing help raise the Awareness of mankind by generating Synchronicity through exalting The AM47 Pentaform: A psycho-cosmic pyramid crowning Gaia. The timing of the voyage is set to the ancient Babylo-Egyptian/sidereal zodiacal year. Departing from the Point of FIRE in San Francisco, to the Point of WATER off the coast of Japan, to the Point of AIR in Turkmenistan, to the Point of EARTH in the Azores, and back to the Point of FIRE in San Francisco to complete the circle… And then advance Northward to the final Point of AETHYR to exalt The Pentaform thus created.

Divvying up the earth was fairly straightforward, but you can’t divide a single point.
It’s shaping up as yet another case of Alter or Oblivion. The pristine crystal crown of Gaia is melting fast, and the greedy humans can’t wait to perform a global trepanation and suck the black matter. All of a sudden, everyone is claiming the Arctic as their own. Divvying up the earth was fairly straightforward, but as the North Pole is just a point, it’s divide by zero. The circle emanates from the spiraling point. Will we draw a giant pentagram on top of the world and divide by 5? We may see some magic spring from this chaos yet, even if under the pretext of conflict.
Project ALTER MAN 47 has been using the North Pole as the AM47 Point of Alchemical AETHYR since July 2007. It is the tip of a *psycho-cosmic pyramid crowning Gaia*. The pyramid or pentaform has 4 base corners around the planet at 37’47” N that astonishingly correspond perfectly with the 4 Classical Elements of Alchemy: FIRE = San Francisco, CA, WATER = The Japan Trench, AIR = Turkmenistan, EARTH = Azores. The plan was to alter an ex-military vessel to run on alt-fuel and fill it with a gang of counterculturalists to spread alt-culture, fuel, sustainable living, do-it-yourself inventions and whatever other utopian madness we could inflict. The voyage would take a year to circumnavigate the globe, hitting each of the 4 points, one every three months, and numerous ports along the way. Upon returning to San Francisco and closing the circle, the AM47 ship was to embark again up through the Bering Strait to Alert, Nunavut, Canada: the northernmost port on the planet and then on to the North Pole to celebrate in the AETHYR. Unfortunately, seemingly endless obstacles have effectively beached the dream that was too good to come true.
After all the hard work and uncanny Synchronicity, can this really be how it all ends? Really?? According to ancient Babylo-Egyptian sidereal astrology, the true Age of Aquarius is still another 366 years off. That’s a long wait for Utopia. But magic is real, faint in this world, but present nonetheless. It could be that this northern focus up to the Solar Apex and out into the future will trigger a surprise.

The global Alchemy of AM47.
It’s only 3 days until the AM47 Point of Alchemical AETHYR on 17 OCT 2013, which also happens to be the deadline for the USA to avoid defaulting on it’s debts, which would probably trigger a global economic catastrophe. 17 OCT 2013 is the latest possible date this year that we could have launched the AM47 ship on it’s Alchemical Voyage around the world from San Francisco. 17 OCT 2013 will mark the 7th failed attempt to launch AM47 in as many years, due to a failure of elucidation of the project, grassroots sharing and hence funding. I don’t know that anyone who has ever lived can really understand what it feels like to truly have the world slip through your fingers… I almost had it all, but now.?.
It Was Always Too Late.
Is it even worth spending the energy on an 8th attempt to launch AM47 on 17 OCT 2014? First off, the world probably isn’t ready and doesn’t even seem interested, so fuck ’em. And then, the Point of WATER at the Japan Trench is irradiated and ruined by Fukushima. The Point of AIR in Northern Persia is the focus of western aggression and likely flashpoint of WW3 and the Suez Canal we must sail through is highly unstable. The Point of EARTH in the Azores remains an easily accessible destination of wonderment, but the once and future capitol of counterculture & Point of FIRE in San Francisco is infested with Banal Techie Doucholes entirely ignorant of anything mystically progressive anymore.

Yet the Arctic Ice continues to rapidly melt at the North Pole/Point of AETHYR which will actually make it possible to sail the AM47 ship to the True North Pole as originally planned 7 years ago!; something that would have been impossible without global warming… which is a bad thing, right?. Project AM47 is definitely conflicted, just like the rest of the world, and it’s characteristic of the Age of Sidereal Pisces that we’ll continue to inhabit for the next @ 363 years at the dawning of the true Age of Sidereal Aquarius.
Yep. Another good 300+ years to go…. yeesh.
The latest prediction by top climate scientists has determined that 2047 is the Point of No Return for life on earth, the new end of the world as we know and want it. That gives us 33 years to drastically ALTER everything about how this entire planet operates before extinction becomes inevitable (not to mention the 500+ nuclear catastrophes waiting to happen at any minute). I love the cool weather of fall and winter, and the stormy skies. The humans of this planet are deliberately shitting on what I love, right now. This is 100% intolerable.
I’ve offered Project ALTERMAN47 to this world and it’s been ignored. And now it’s probably too late. I’ve been doing the “math” and it is achingly clear that the utopian society of the Age of Sidereal Aquarius in @ 350 years time can NOT possibly arise from a human population of 8+billion. There is simply too much discord in a population that large in this deluded age. That means a mass extinction of humans between now and then is inevitable. Whether or not this will come about deliberately or as a matter of natural course remains to be seen. But make no mistake, there WILL be a purge on this human race, one way or another. And that’s probably No Bad Thing, depending on who survives of course.

From what I’ve seen, this human race is simply unwilling to make the necessary Alterations toward a utopian society. Humans (primates) main defense is their offensive odor and awful flavor. They’re so polluted that they don’t even make decent fertilizer! This planet must be under invasion because they have certainly stunk the place up so that no one else would touch it with a 10 ft. pole. I’m by NO means a religious man, but this portion of Revelations does illustrate the mystery of “47” quite beautifully, which of course is a recurring theme throughout project AM47. Not only is it wonderful because of 47, but also because of the supernatural/Alchemical imagery that so potently transcends the human form and materialism:
The 4 Living Creatures. The 4 Royal Signs. The 4 Alchemical Elements.

I’ve been producing a modern day interpretation of The Alchemical Great Work (loosely, the idealization of matter into spirit & the great unifying mystical tradition) for the past 7 years with astonishing results. You can find out all about this great voyage and film here at Project ALTER MAN 47.
As you can see from this North Pole perspective, the 4 Alchemical Points of AM47 are perfectly aligned around the crown of Gaia.
In short, there are 4 cornerstones of an ancient sacred alchemical geometry perfectly spaced around the world at the exact same latitude in:
1. San Francisco (too many FIRE associations to list here; 1906 Great Fire, birthplace of Burning Man, and now the Rim Fire) is FIRE
2. The Japan Trench (Fukushima & the largest volcano in the entire solar system) is WATER
3. Turkmenistan (Gonur Depe – the birthplace of Zoroastrianism – heart of ALL monotheism, and center of the middle east) is AIR
4. The Azores (highest mountain tops in the Atlantic Ocean, and home to a newly discovered ancient occupation with tombs and pyramids) is EARTH
5. And The North Pole, the capstone on this ‘Psycho-Cosmic Pyramid Crowning Gaia’ is AETHYR
Note that the Fire is on the exact latitude of San Francisco (the AM47 Point of FIRE) and on the exact date that the Sun entered the ancient Babylo-Egyptian sidereal sign of Leo (FIRE).
And so the Great Yosemite Rim Fire (3rd biggest Fire in California history) ignited on 17 AUG 2013. As I and ancient history have revealed, the sign of Leo (FIRE) is currently from 17 AUG – 16 SEP, and this shifts slowly over a 26,000 year cycle of precession. The Rim Fire ignited on 17 AUG 2013, the exact time that the Sun went into sidereal Leo, on the exact latitude of the Point of FIRE: San Francisco… yet another blatant portent signifying the relevance & dire nature of Project ALTER MAN 47 that humankind continues to DENY. Gaia and I have no patience left, and if you look into your deepest heart, neither do you.

(08 June 2013) Today was the New Moon in Sidereal Taurus and the first organizational meeting of the San Francisco Holy Grail Society: a social club organized around the exploration and practice of occult mysteries including Rosicrucian, Wicca, hermetic sciences, Qabalah, Tantra, Gnosticism, & Shamanism.
We explored the notion of how Sacrifice for the future is necessary right Now. Sacrifice in it’s extreme form is physical death. We would rather see sacrifice as Change. Unless this change is identified and rapidly embraced, the necessity of physical death as fertilization is inevitable and welcome.
We must sacrifice our old self. We must break down our old selves and assemble someone new. We have the wrong diet, the wrong currency, the wrong governance, the wrong calendar, the wrong zodiac, the wrong energy, the wrong beliefs. Virtually Everything in so-called modern civilization is completely backwards leading us to have a wrong identity that must be sacrificed. We need a radical departure from the habitual waste of everyday existence. But just changing ourselves isn’t enough. We must quickly find new ways to gradually layer this process of sacrifice to make it appeal to others as well.
The past strangles the future. Society must adopt a vegetarian diet, a Bitcoin/Silver/barter based economy, 3rd party governance, a lunar calendar, the sidereal zodiac, a culture based around what alternative energy can provide instead of a runaway culture fueled by petrol, and direct spiritual experience instead of traditional belief. If 23% of the passionate population took to the streets and demanded these Alterations, we’d be living in an Alternate reality by 2014.
Folks need fresh, living myths in order to become more willing to change. They need evidenced stories of the power to manifest dreams and demonstrations of the work it takes to do it. They need stories of proof of non-localized consciousness and the value of seeking out such things. They need Destiny Journalism, Metafiction, & Speculative Fantasy. And they need ritual, ceremony, counseling, education, and initiation rites to inspire personal & cultural revelation.
There is evidence in literature and archeology of a Golden Age in earth’s past. After The Flood, coastal civilization would have been all but wiped out (which makes us largely the descendents of hill-billys). What were they doing differently in the Golden Age that we no longer do? One thing we know is that much of the remaining architecture is focused around the live observation of the heavens. Very few people take this seriously today and through all the smog and light pollution, there’s little desire to do so.
12,000 years ago at Gobekli Tepe, Turkey, civilization was founded on an agreement of the stars in the heavens, and the future of civilization is no exception. Sacrifice is needed Now if humankind is ever to see The Age of Sidereal Aquarius, still some 363 years in the future.
The SF Bay Area is the once and future capitol of counterculture. Here are just a few of the currently active occult organizations in and around San Francisco that we might like to explore bridging to build continuity and the alignment of disparate intent:
The Temple Of Set is an institution designed to encourage the cultivation of self-Awareness in life transcending death. “The Temple of Set seeks above all to honor and enshrine consciousness. We wish to apprehend what makes us each individually unique and use this gift to make ourselves stronger in all facets of our being. To do this we preserve and improve the tradition of spiritual distinction from the cultural universe.”
The Holy Grail Society is a social club “organized around the exploration and practice of occult mysteries – Rosicrucian, Wicca, hermetic sciences, Qabalah, Tantra, Gnosticism, Shamanism. The Holy Grail Society is devoted to liberating the individual from the bondage of external morality, cleansing the doors of perception, revealing the true will of the divine Self.”
The San Francisco Astrological Society “serves as an educational, professional and social networking resource to the Bay Area (Tropical) Astrological community, providing an *affordable* monthly forum for people interested in astrology to gather and explore this *ancient language*.” Though the SFAS are still Tropical and not yet Sidereal astrologers, they do have a large participatory base primed for Alteration.
The Burning Man Project “is establishing an Urban Cultural Center in San Francisco that will provide collaborative gathering and gallery spaces, classrooms, workshops, a library, archives, sites for ritual and ceremony and shared office space for multiple community-based non-profit organizations.”
The Mission Astrology Group was founded in San Francisco and is the longest running gathering of Western Sidereal Astrologers in the world, currently active in various occult groups in SF.
Project ALTER MAN 47 is essentially a Synchronicity Generator and an experimental quest to help reset and raise Global Awareness. One tangible goal of AM47 is to provide an extreme example of creating culture around what sustainable, alternative energy can support as opposed to mindlessly fueling a runaway culture of excess.

(02 Jun 2013) The ALTER MAN 47 Alchemical Point of Elemental EARTH is in the Azores. The Azores is the 4th prime destination to be reached on the AM47 voyage around the globe before returning back to the start in San Francisco to complete the circle. The AM47 ship The Mantra, is scheduled to reach the Azores by 30 May 2014, mid-Sidereal Taurus (15 May – 16 June, fixed Earth element). Although The Mantra didn’t acquire the funds to make the voyage this year, these are the developments in the Azores during the AM47 Point of EARTH 2013. Great book about Azores/Whales. “It is a collage of memoir, cultural history and travelogue in which the author makes pilgrimage to ever more distant seas to swim with whales and dolphins. These encounters yield some of the most vivid writing in the book, charged with the same awe and joy that characterised Hoare’s retelling in the last chapter of Leviathan of a close encounter with a sperm whale near the Azores.”
(19 Jun 2013) Azores Fringe Festival. Just, WOW! A Fringe Festival (alternative/sustainable music, art and culture) in the Azores (part of a global “Fringe” network!) is taking place on June 19th in the Azores, just 19 days after my proposed AM47 Elemental EARTH Ceremony!!!! Not too shabby, eh? Plus there’s a reference to “1947” but it’s in Portuguese and I haven’t translated it yet! Still though, Pretty Fucken Stoked! I’m contacting them now about adjusting the event date to coincide with the arrival of The Mantra this time next year!!! WILD WISHING.

I worked with the Speakers at the O’Reilly Fluent Javascript conference the other day in SF and a group of the speakers began talking about their love of ships and meeting up later at the SF Maritime Museum. The conversation quickly turned into how they’re all just really moonlighting coders but sci-fi writers at heart. So I jumped on the opportunity to chime-in and share my Alchemical Project AM47 and hand out my card. AM47 is of course all @ ‘sci-fi’ (or more appropriately, Speculative Fantasy / Metafiction) and, well… Ships! I’ve probably flat-blasted the poor bastards. Ah well.

As a caveat, @ 47 minutes later, a speaker wearing prototype Augmented Reality glasses from Google asks me if I want to try them on. As soon as I put them on and swipe my finger at the temple control, the time [ 4:47 ] pops-up!! This type of Synchronicity is common for me, and increasing all the time, but it’s nice to have actual witnesses, not to mention potential new contacts. It’s a sad state of affairs when you can’t simply come out and say things like “Sidereal Astrology“, “Alchemy”, “Synchronicity”, “Vision Dreaming”, and the like without being ridiculed or disregarded out-of-hand. But I’m learning to take every chance that comes, damn the consequences… By Any Means Necessary!

On 12 Mar 2013, Earth’s Moon was hit with the biggest asteroid in recorded history. At that time the Moon was in Mid-Sidereal Taurus: the AM47 Alchemical Point of Elemental EARTH (which occurs when a planetary body and the Sun align with Aldebaran, Mid-Sidereal Taurus).

The main eruption on Iceland in 2010 which subsided during the AM47 Point of Elemental EARTH.
Beginning on 14 April 2010, volcanic eruptions in Iceland created an ash cloud that led to the closure of most of the European IFR airspace. By 31 May 2010, the main eruption phase had subsided to the point that no further lava or ash was being produced.

Sidereal (star) reckoning was the basis of all astrology before it became divorced from astronomy thanks in large part to a fractured torch-pass from the Babylo-Egyptians to the Greco-Romans (thankfully with some Arabic sanity in between). It’s shocking to me that humankind hasn’t demanded the total excavation of the magnificent astro-archaeological find at Gobekli Tepe, Turkey. Clearly a highly advanced “international” agreement of the stars above… 12,000 years ago! Mind blowing. I think they buried it on purpose as a Time Capsule to be found in the future… Now. (BTW, the Gobekli Tepe site is just west and on the EXACT latitude of the AM47 Point of Elemental AIR! When the going get’s weird, the weird start hiring!!)

When working with a system as comprehensive as Astrology, it is easy to reach confounded ends. For instance, ‘I wonder if Eric is a hot-head because his Sun is in Aries or because he’s got Mars on his MC?’ There is no way to answer this astrologically until you run his chart. The ultimate question is, how can 2 differing systems (Tropical & Sidereal) both be right? They can’t. It’s one or the other. There is no fuzzy thinking here. Astrology is far to important to be mistaken. For instance, the star Antares is the Heart of the Scorpion. This is an unalterable factual agreement from antiquity. If Mercury was conjunct Antares (Scorpio, Fixed WATER) when I was born, how on earth can I expect to interpret it accurately if I think that it is in Tropical Sagittarius (Mutable FIRE) as 97% of Western Astrologers will tell me so.?.

To put it bluntly, Sidereal Astrology is scientific, tropical astrology is arbitrary. Luckily, I got seriously interested in astrology @ 18 years ago when there was ample info available about ALL the known Astrologys. As I had nothing invested in any of them (apart from being told for years from flaky people that I was a “Sag”), I was discerning enough to measure which one was both historically and empirically The MOST accurate: Sidereal Astrology. Sure, things that folks believe in collectively have great power. But when you can align those “beliefs” with what’s actually going on, then you have just MAXimized your power. 97% of Western Astrologers and Magicians use Tropical Astrology. Look at the world, do you see any spiritual mechanics functioning properly in this mess? I don’t. But I aim to walk this earth and fix it.

Archer get’s bit in the ass by a Caspian Cobra… But who will suck his cheeks to save his ass?!?
I’ve never watched the show Archer about utterly incompetent male secret agents, but I’m about to watch this episode where Sterling Archer get’s “Once Bitten” in the ass by a Caspian Cobra in Turkmenistan! Coincidentally, this funny cartoon adds a little much needed brevity to the very heavy situation in the Middle East and the world in general. And the fact that it happens to have aired at the same time as The ALTER MAN 47 Point of Elemental AIR/Sidereal Aquarius in Turkmenistan, is of course of great interest to this Project AM47. By the way, the longitude of the point of AIR in Turkmenistan is DIRECTLY on the longitude of last weeks Big Russian Meteorite that struck Earth on the 1st day of Sidereal Aquarius. The Synchronicity goes on!!

AM47 IS unlike anything You’ve ever seen before and holds every dream you’ve ever held dear. On the outside, AM47 is the voyage of an alt-fueled ex-military cargo ship around the globe. The ship will be retrofitted in a Burning Man & Maker Faire style, loaded with innovative & interactive alt-living tech & culture exhibits onboard. The purpose is to spread & share alternative & sustainable culture and make powerful cross-cultural connections at all the ports that we’ll visit around the globe… & We’ll Film It All!

On the inside this is literally the actualization of a Dream that I had. The idea was sparked by an actual dream and blossomed through the uncanny Synchronicity in the research and development that followed. All the alt-fuel, living, tech, art and culture clothe a deeper mystery that will only be revealed in The Process of being underway and completing the voyage.
The Synchronicity inherent in the project is too expansive to detail here but I can honestly tell you that the synergistic connectivity literally verges into the supernatural and I can only encourage you to scan through the AM47.org pages and you’ll begin to see what I mean.

In essence, AM47 is the mystic voyage of an alt-fueled ship, bourne of a Dream & enhanced by astonishing Synchronicity toward a far more Magical view of humankind’s Alchemical capability of true change. AM47 aims to further generate Synchronicity and alter the world by exalting ‘ The Pentaform ※ : A psycho-cosmic pyramid crowning Gaia ’.
Alter Humankind?
I’m an investigative mythologist & I’ve spent the past 5 years chronicling the development of this Project ALTER MAN 47 about an unprecedented & utterly fantastic circumnavigation of the globe. This project came from a Dream & the Synchronicity inherent in the project continues to be uncanny & undeniable, all true & documented at AM47.org. The project is a synergy of both esoteric disciplines and practical do-it-yourself sustainable technology. AM47 is an umbrella project for creative metaphysicians of all types.
We need a roughly 300ft decommissioned military cargo vessel with an alt-fuel conversion & a Burning Man styled & Maker Faire equipped retrofit. We’ll fill the ship with a wide variety of innovative & interactive alt-living tech, art & culture exhibits. The ultimate plan is to circumnavigate the globe to a set host of ports along a very particular course and time schedule.
A front loading military Ro/Ro Ship (roll-on, roll-off) that would be perfect for AM47. We would build-out the entire cargo space with all the various installations and compact berthing spaces for the crew.
The ship will be a platform for alt-fuel, tech, art & culture featuring fellow creative visionaries from the Burning Man & Maker Faire community & beyond. The cargo bay will be transformed into a kind of Alchemical chamber with a tour path for visitors to be immersed in all the interactive exhibits & be Dream-Struck & Altered coming out the other end! The crew of the AM47 will all act as ambassadors & demonstrators in the areas of alternative energy, sustainable living, Next Phase culture & extreme collaborative creativity.
Activated Alchemical Point
The ultimate purpose of the project is to give a symbol to the creation of a mystically charged global network of humankind: People who have become connected and are passionate about cultivating a sea-grassroots movement in agreement with the future of Earthkind by implementing all the wonderful tech and culture that the AM47 ship can share. That and to fulfill a deep blue dream and burning desire of a lad that has refused to grow into this profoundly sick society without first healing it.
What AM47 Needs & What You Get
AM47 is by necessity, a multi-phase project. Something of this scale could be done no other way on IndieGoGo, or otherwise. So this is essentially Phase 1 of 5:
Your contributions now will fund the creation of a professional website & video, and professional design, editorial & PR/publicity assistance including a Business Plan, all for $4,700 raised by 26 February 2013.
Phase 2 will be about developing the production company for the project for $47,000 by @ April 2013.
If Phase 2 is successful, I’d imagine that the project would then fall into the graces and funding of executive producers and fall outside of the reach of crowdsourcing, but who knows?
Phase 3 will be about amassing the crew of filmmakers, artists, musicians, writers, scientists, mystics, freaks, lovers, fishermen & perhaps most importantly, benefactors & sponsors needed to populate the ship for $470,000 by @ May 2013.
Phase 4 will be about acquiring the actual ship & giving it a retrofit and alt-fuel conversion for $4,700,000 by early-October 2013.
Phase 5 will be about the ships operating cost over the 1 year course of the voyage & the production of the documentary films while underway & to follow.

Again, by the time we reach Phase 3, 4 & 5, we’ll have theoretically secured funding from beyond crowdsourcing in order to see the project through to completion.
