What defines Gen X?
By my reckoning, those born @ Halloween 1968 ~ @ Halloween 1981 (age 56-43) are core Generation X — “Generations” as defined by Pluto’s progression through the sidereal zodiac (which was in si Virgo/Mutable EARTH for 13 years from ‘68-‘81). So for one, Gen X is literally bookended by Halloween.
And then there’s the fact that Nixon was elected in ‘68 too — right at the dawn of Gen X (with the Pluto shift into a *mutable* sign) — so the genesis of Gen X took place under a big regressive political wave too that set the stage for the one long dark Halloweentime that has been the better part of Gen X lives. And as Halloween 2024 never really ended and as everyday was already Halloween for Gen X, now everyday is Halloween for everyone else too! Gen X was made for this type of crisis though and this fight is in their bones.
It’s 99 Days ‘till Halloween but it’s time for the X-MEN of Gen X to step out of the shadows today.
